K-water has been South Korea’s leader in the economic development and living standard improvement through efficient water resources management since its foundation in 1967. K-water aim to steer the future water management paradigm by utilizing advanced technologies and water management experiences accumulated over a half century.
Manila Water Company, Inc. holds the exclusive right to provide water and used water services to the eastern side of Metro Manila under a Concession Agreement entered into between the Company and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System on February 21, 1997. The original term of the concession was for a period of twenty five years to expire in 2022. The Company’s concession was extended by another fifteen years by MWSS and the Philippine Government in 2009, thereby extending the expiry of the concession from May 2022 to May 2037.
The Center for Environmental Fluid Dynamics (CEFD) aims to assemble a wide variety of lecturers, scientists and experts not only in the field of marine sciences but also in other dynamic fields, especially related to the field of environmental fluid dynamics within the National University.
